Hailing from Quebec’s Magdalen Islands, singer-songwriter Jean-Pierre Cyr now calls Ville de Saguenay home.

In his early twenties, he began crafting songs on his guitar, and his talents extend to the piano as well. A true troubadour, Cyr spent a decade gracing stages across Quebec. A passionate defender of the French language, he draws inspiration from legendary artists like Brassens, Brel, Barbara, Ferrรฉ, Leforestier, Nougaro, Duteil, and Leclerc. Now, Cyr has shifted his focus from live performance to sharing his music with the broader French-speaking world (la Francophonie).

His songs resonate with audiences, evidenced by an impressive average of 65,700 annual listens on SOCAN in Canada. The album features musicians who have collaborated with greats like Yves Duteil (Rรฉjean Yacolas on piano) and Clรฉmence DesRochers (Steeve Normandin on accordion).
