Seattle-based singer, songwriter, musical artist, and music producer Emes (pronounced M. S.)
aka. Emesthegenius has his way of crafting soulful real-life stories of relationships, being woven
in with songs of introspection and reflection.

Born Herman Schimmelfennig Jr, a proud mixed native Hawaiian birthed a love for music at a
young age while growing up in Honolulu, HI. Coming from a musical family, he developed a love
for R&B music as a teen. After moving to Seattle to pursue an education in Music he finally
graduated from The Los Angeles Film School and has been releasing music consistently
since 2019. Releasing 4 EPs, 60+ singles, and numerous features, now releasing his newest
jewel also known as his “mantra”, The Circuit.
