NEW ALBUM EVERYBODY CAN'T GO ARRIVING EARLY 2024

Today, Benny the Butcher – Grammy-nominated artist and founding member of Buffalo’s acclaimed independent rap collective Griselda Records –  releases his brand new single “Big Dog” via Def Jam Recordings/Roc Nation/ Agency78“Big Dog” – featuring Lil Wayne and produced by the Alchemist – is the prelude to EVERYBODY CAN'T GO, Benny’s forthcoming new album set to release early next year.

Listen to “Big Dog” feat. Lil Wayne HERE.

“Big Dog” is the first new music from Benny the Butcher since Tana Talk 4 broke inside the Top 25 on the Billboard 200 album chart last year, and notably his first release for Def Jam Recordings.  Co-produced by L.A.-based the Alchemist, the mixtape spun off its opening track, “Johnny P’s Caddy” featuring J. Cole.  A #14 Hot Rap Songs hit, it was also Benny’s first single to break inside the Hot 100.

Benny The Butcher knew by the age of ten that he wanted to be involved with music. He self-released his mixtapes in the late 2000s as B.E.N.N.Y., including The Mayor’s Back and Chains Bond. In 2014, Benny’s cousin Westside Gunn founded Griselda Records, through which Benny, Conway and Westside Gunn would self-release their own projects. In 2016, Benny released his album titled My First Brick followed by the mixtape Butcher on Steroids with DJ Green Lantern in 2017. Later that year, Griselda Records signed a deal with Eminem’s Shady Records, a subsidiary of Interscope.

In November of 2018, Benny released his album Tana Talk 3, produced by The Alchemist and Griselda associate Daringer, touting features from Westside Gunn, Conway and Royce da 5’9″. The album was critically acclaimed, garnering widespread attention. In August of 2019, it was announced that Benny signed a management deal with Roc Nation.

‘MAY’, the first single from belgian rapper Avishaï off his first upcoming EP !

If the Brussels rapper Avishaï introduces us to a first EP in early 2024, the 28-year-old artist is not quite the newcomer in the music space. As soon as 2015, he turned his love for American Hip-Hop into music after spending a year in the Bay Area in California. This double-crush for rap and American culture will take the shape of a mixtape called ‘The Glory Days‘ which will help him get noticed by the likes of Concours Circuit and Tremplin de Dour.

The young man then gets a college degree, learns how to produce his own tracks and integrates his multi-instrumentalist background into his production. At the same time, he copes with his difficult return to Belgium and the grief-like nostalgia of a golden year in the US, which will ultimately inspire him in his writing process.

All of this culminates today into the single ‘MAY’, which speaks to his last day in California and the impossibility of saying farewell.

As illustrated in the music video, Avishaï evokes in ‘MAY’ this ghost that he pursues in vain, trying to capture one last time the magic of this special moment in time. As to get over it once and for all.

A ghost that ultimately burns, like the turn of a page, a moment of the past that he tries unwillingly to let go. This song serves as the intro for the rapper’s first EP to which he gave the evocative and nostalgic name ‘LAST TIME I SAW YOU’.

Melancholy in the subject matter, nostalgia in the lyrics but also an intensely colorful production made of spatial melodic layers, a subtle west-coast sound and some 808s that will shake any soundsystem.

A first single as an opening door to Avishaï’s musical and artistic universe which you will discover the multiple facets of in the upcoming months.

Larry June and producer Cardo give Blxst the spotlight on their new single “Without You”

Song characterized by calm, laid back kinda flows which got black and white visuals and centers
Uncle Larry and Blxst serenading their lady co-stars in a couple
romantic shots.

“I just want to hold you down / Don’t worry about nothing baby,”
sings Larry, while Blxst does what he does best. “I been around / Still
ain’t one like the one that I found / You got me stuck / Lifting you up
while you holding me down”

The song which preaches self-confidence and love with Alicia’s angelic vocals and anchored by her soothing piano keys, the Grammy-winning songstress is nothing short of a masterpiece by the Grammy-winning songstress.

“Girl, you can’t be scared / Gotta stand up strong / Let ’em see
