YG & Brittany Renner Spark Dating Rumors

According to report reaching us, Compton-born rapper YG has been spotted out on what seems to be an ice cream date with social media personality Brittany Renner in Los Angeles. The Shade Room caught some exclusive pictures of Renner holding onto the rapper's arm, along with some more photos of the two sitting down to enjoy their cold treats.Ā 
Renner can be seen wearing a black, figure-hugging dress with tall knee-high boots. She slicked her hair back in a long ponytail style to complete the look. YG Ā kept it casual, styling his 'fit with his beige 4Hunnid sweater.
YG has been previously linked to his on-and-off girlfriend, Catelyn Sparks, with whom he shares two children: six-year-old Harmony and two-year-old Vibe. Back in 2019, the 4Hunnid rapper was dating Kehlani up until she broke up with him in 2020. The singer came forward post-break-up and "kissing" scandal to clarify that the two were in an open relationship, nonetheless, she still discovered "a lot of lies and a lot of covering up" that fueled the break-up.
Renner, for her part, has had her fair share of relationship-related headlines; from her break-up with PJ Washington, to various rapper rumors throughout the years, to hot debates concerning either her or her exploits.
While neither Renner nor YG has responded to the rumors yet, the photos (below) have drummed up plenty of speculation.
Many users guessed that the date could still be business-related, giving the example of a music video shoot. One account commented, "Plot twist: video shoot." While another commented, "Look at these 2 pisces love birds." Thus, opinions are varied.

VIRAL VIDEO MAKING ROUNDS ON THE INTERNET SHOWS DABABY FIGHTING HIS ARTIST WISDOM AT SOUTH CAROLINA CONCERT

Things has ptobably gone south at Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment.

This came as a shock on Saturday (April 23), when DaBaby and his artist Wisdom exchanged punches backstage at a spring concert featuring Kodak Black, Blacc Zacc, Renni Rucci, Boosie Badazz Webbie and more.
After DaBaby swings at Wisdom and barely moves him, security promptly jumps in and intervenes and both men begin cursing at one another from a small distance. Although DaBaby headlined the concert, it’s unclear whether the incident occurred before the performance or after.
Florida artist Denzel Curry has perhaps got the best reaction to DaBaby’s latest physical incident, proclaiming the rapper may be doing his best to be part of the next generation of Def Jam fighting games following in the lineage of Def Jam Vendetta Ā and Def Jam: Fight For NY.
Throughout his time in the spotlight, DaBaby has on many occassions laid hands on people, whether in self-defense or not. In 2019, he famously got into a fight with late North Carolina artist Cam Coldheart in a mall. In February he and Brandon Bills, brother of DaniLeigh, got into an altercation inside of a bowling alley.
Although the case had shifted to a legal matter after DaBaby was charged with assault, the case stalled out due to Bills’ lack of cooperation with authorities. On Tuesday (April 19), the rapper took to social media and explained why he refused to speak to cops, citing he wasn’t going to put somebody else in jail.
“I wake up this morning to a whole bunch of news, a whole bunch of people tagging me,” he said in an Instagram clip shared by The Shade Room. “I was never cooperating, yo know? I was never gonna cooperate. I was never gonna put nobody in jail. I been to jail myself, I’m not gonna put nobody in that situation, you feel me? So, all y’all talkin’ all that snitch shit, y’all might as well quit to that ’cause ain’t nobody a snitch here. Never will be a snitch, never was a snitch.”

QUEEN RAPPER NICKI MINAJ OPENS UP ABOUT SOBRIETY & HAPPINESS: ‘BE GENTLE WITH YOURSELF’

Stars go through same struggles as we do too, this is evident in the life of Nicki Minaj who has got her own taste sobriety issues.

On Thursday (April 21), the Queen rapper opened up to all 24.9 million of her Twitter followers by explaining how she moved on from her use of marijuana as a coping mechanism and, in turn, has grounded herself and found a source of natural joy, free of stimulants.
“I used to b happy when I was high,” Nicki wrote in part. “Now I’m happy when I’m sober. No judgment to anyone. Be gentle with yourself.”
She continued, remarking on how her past lifestyle choices still linger in this new chapter of her life, partly due to genetic factors that are out of her control.
“My eyes naturally look like that and ppl always think I’m high when I’m not wearing makeup,” Nicki said. “Plus my eyes are naturally gray & I was born in the Caribbean islands of Cuba. The 1st paragraph was true tho.”
The multi-platinum rapper-turned-mother has transformed into a nurturing, and self-reflective guardian since the birth of her son Papa in September 2020.

Afro Samurai Reveals New Cover Art for Directorā€™s Cut Re-Release

Titan Comics unveiled its new cover art for the second volume of the Afro Samurai manga Director's Cut release.
As reported by Anime News Network, the new art features swordsman Jinnosuke wielding his blade as he dons his iconic cybernetic teddy bear helmet which grants him the fitting moniker "Kuma." The creator of Afro Samurai, Takashi Okazaki, was commissioned to illustrate the covers for the upcoming editions that are being published in commemoration of the anime adaptation's 15th anniversary. The re-release will also feature a new foreword by Okazaki. The first volume will release on July 26, while the second will launch on Oct. 4.
The release of the two Director's Cut volumes will collate all 10 chapters of the series in a graphic novel format larger than the previous editions published by Seven Seas Entertainment and Tor Books over a decade ago. The new cover for Volume 1 was revealed in March when Titan Comics launched its new manga imprint, Titan Manga.
"Not only did the Afro Samurai manga have a huge impact on me personally at the time, the aftershock from Okazaki-san’s stone-cold classic is still being felt in today's anime and manga cultures," said editorial director Duncan Baizley when the re-release was announced. "Effortlessly cool with beautifully choreographed bloody mayhem — like Kurosawa exploding through a Tarantino lens — it was always going to be our number one choice to launch Titan Comics' spectacular new Titan Manga imprint."
Set in a feudal yet futuristic Japan, Afro Samurai follows the eponymous character as he hunts down a gunslinger named Justice whom he witnessed kill his father, Ryutaro, as a child. Ryutaro was the previous holder of the No. 1 headband, said to grant god-like powers and even immortality to make its owner the greatest warrior in the world. After Justice, the owner of the No. 2 headband, murders Ryutaro to claim this prize, Afro sets off years later to reclaim his father's headband, finally "ready to duel a God" as per Justice's parting words to him.
Okazaki was inspired to create Afro Samurai due to his love for soul and hip-hop music and American media. He based Afro's design on real-life black samurai Yasuke who served as a retainer under the Japanese daimyō Oda Nobunaga during the Sengoku period. When a friend of Okazaki's began releasing Afro action figures, the mangaka was approached by animation studio Gonzo to create an anime miniseries based on his work. The 5-episode anime series eventually debuted three years later in January 2007 on Paramount Network's (then Spike's) website, with Samuel L. Jackson (The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey) voicing the titular protagonist and his partner, Ninja Ninja, and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe’s Yuri Lowenthal voicing Jinnosuke.
The first and second volumes of the Afro Samurai Director's Cut manga will be released on July 26 and Oct. 4, respectively. The Afro Samurai anime is available to stream now on Netflix, Funimation, Amazon Prime and Hulu.
