The Weeknd graced the stage to perform his second sold out show at the SoFi stadium on Saturday night but things went south for him.

Amid the show, The Weeknd took a break and then later announced to fans that he lost his voice and is unable to continue performing. The 32-year-old Canadian singer cum songwriter, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, is on his stadium tour in support of two albums: 2020โ€™s successful After Hours and his 2022โ€™s Dawn FM.

Abel came to the stage to personally inform the fans about the development and apologized that he wonโ€™t be able to give them the experience they came to get. He also mentioned that he didnโ€™t want to just โ€œtweetโ€ or โ€œInstagramโ€ this and that concert goers will be able to get their refund for the show. Watch the the clip below.

We wish The Weeknd a speedy recovery.
