KIM KARDASHIAN JOKES ABOUT DIVORCING KANYE WEST ON ‘SNL’

The billionaire beauty mogul made her highly-anticipated “Saturday Night Live” hosting debut last Saturday night. During her opening monologue, she poked fun at her famous family, including estranged husband Kanye West.
“I’ve been very blessed in this life, and I’m grateful for everything, honestly, all the ups, all the downs,” said Kim. “I mean, I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America, a talented, legit genius, who gave me four incredible kids.”
She continued, “So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality. I know it sounds mean, but people keep telling me that comedy comes from truth. And if there’s one thing that I always strive to be, it’s genuine.”
She also brought up Kanye’s ill-fated presidential campaign, as well as her stepfather Caitlyn Jenner’s failed bid for California governor. “Now I know we’re divided as a country, but I’d love America to come together, which is why I’m here to announce that I’m running for,” she said, adding, “I’m just kidding, guys! I’m not running for president. We can’t have three failed politicians in one family.”
At the end of the show, she once again acknowledged Kanye, who was reportedly in the audience. “Thank you to Kanye and the rest of my family for being such good sports. I love you guys so much,” said Kim while standing alongside her mother Kris Jenner and sister Khloé Kardashian.

The two sparked reconciliation rumors after they were recently spotted dining together in Malibu with friends amid their divorce.

Wasatch County, Heber, Midway would distribute RAP Tax money by population

The RAP Tax is a local sales tax that would generate income that Heber City, Midway and the county could use for recreation, arts and parks.
It will only go into effect after the November 2 municipal election if  Wasatch County voters vote in favor of it.
The new tax would add a tenth of a cent on the dollar to the current sales tax rate for the next 10 years. It would apply to all shopping, except most groceries.
The county says it would generate an estimated sum of $800,000 in its first year and more in years to come. It also estimates as much as half of that would be from visitors to the county.
“We have not gotten ahead of the public by really introducing what the RAP Tax would do and how the money would be spent, and I still don’t think we have very good answers from a county-wide perspective,” Councilwoman Rachel Kahler said at a city council meeting last week. “From the city, I think we have a good plan moving forward, but I’m really fearful that this first attempt to pass the RAP Tax will leave more questions than answers.”
The city has outlined a parks master plan, which is on the website for its general plan, envisionheber.com.
As described in the parks plan, the estimated $800,000 would be for new trails, parks and arts programs, as well as improvements to existing facilities.
The plan says there is space in future development plans for seven new parks or expansions, adding up to 45 total acres. The city’s goal is to develop at least 19 of those acres into functioning parks by 2030.
Another push is to fill gaps in the current trail system.
In a video about the tax, County Councilman Mark Nelson describes how it would benefit arts initiatives county-wide. It would fund grant programs for visual, performing and literary arts, as well as arts education.
At the council meeting, Heber City Manager Matt Brower presented a draft interlocal agreement between the two cities and the county.
The agreement would be to pool all the tax money from shoppers anywhere in the county and distribute it to the cities and county based on populations. Heber City would get half, the county would get 35%, and Midway would get 15%.
Once they receive payments, they would have three years to use or obligate them. Obligating the money means setting it aside for a specified project plan.
The interlocal agreement also specifies that the three entities would follow state code in using the funds on local recreation, arts and parks.
Another provision would allow the cities and county to share or lend their revenues with each other if they choose.
Wasatch County voters are expected to receive mailed ballots this week.
The next Heber City Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 19.

A simple step by step guide on how to monetize your site with anti-adblock inpage push notifcation.

Before we begin, let us know what some of the terminologies used in the article mean.

1: Adblock
2: In-page push notification

So, what is adblock?

i know that alot of you be thinking that adblock actually block ads, but on the other hand it doesnt. Yo say what? yes, it doesnt! So, what does adblocks do? Adblockers no doubt play a key role in protecting our privacy and providing a smooth browsing experience. Oh, they do that by blocking ads? No!

Technically speaking, adblocks do not block ads – they simply block web requests that download content into the browser. In otherwords, adblockers stop ads from downloading on your browser, allowing web pages to load faster and offering a better browser experience.

I know all this explanation probably got you confused, because you may just have started out as a publisher and someone might have told you that adblockers block ads on your site. But, how does it work if it doesnt block ads on your site?

Adblock technology relies on simple lists called filter lists, that determine what to block and what to allow to appear on the pages you visit. These lists simply consist of a list of URLs in the form of an “allow list” or “block list”.

when you visit a website, adblock quickly checks if that website is in on this filter lists. If it is, then the request to external content is blocked and the Ad is not downloaded into the web page. In summary, adblock technology is a set of rules that are established in this filter lists that determine what should be blocked or not blocked on the webpages you are visiting.

Ok, now that we have clearly known what adblock is and how it works. So, what is “in-page push notification”?

First introduced in 2020, it looks similar to push notifications but they are not push ads and that is why users dont need to subscribe to recieve them. In-page push ads are actually banner ads displayed directly on publishers websites and working on the CPC model. This means that in-page push ads are available for all users, on all devices – iOS included.

So, does in-page push ads get blocked by Ad blocks? Good thing is, the answer is no!

Dwayne Johnson Makes ‘Historic Rap Debut’ on Tech N9ne’s Song ‘FACE OFF’

Dwayne Johnson revealed he is been featured by his friend Tech N9ne on his new single "FACE OFF," which also features Joey Cool and King Iso.

Is there anything Dwayne Johnson can't do?
The Jumanji star, 49, has now added rapper to his resume after appearing on friend Tech N9ne's new single "FACE OFF," which also features Joey Cool and King Iso.
Johnson announced on Twitter, "Made my historic rap debut (thankfully I didn't suck 😅) Huge shout out to all the hip hop & music fans for your HYPE reactions that are straight f—— fire 🔥🔥🔥 🙏🏽👊🏽 Love to my #StrangeMusic USO's @TechN9ne 🐐 @therealJoeyCool @TheRealKingIso #FACEOFF"

— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) October 8, 2021
In an interview with Variety, the Black Adam actor revealed how the collaboration came to be, saying plenty of his friends in the music industry have been trying to get him on their tracks for decades, but he was waiting for the right project.
"A lot of my friends who are hip hop artists — like big names — I've been asked a few times. But it just has to feel right," Johnson told the outlet.
Initially, Tech N9ne, 49, asked Johnson to recite spoken words for his part in "Face Off."
"I said, 'I just want you to talk some real motivational stuff at end,'" the musician recalled. But the Ballers star had something else in mind.
Johnson, who wrote his own lyrics for the song, raps, "It's about drive. It's about power. We stay hungry. We devour."
"When Tech texted me, I knew I would make this work," he explained. "We're aligned, just in terms of our work ethic and desire. When Tech and I first met years ago on the set of Ballers, we were talking about this idea about being the hardest worker in the room. He said something that I really appreciated, basically, 'There could never be enough food in this room or on this set that could make me full because I always want to be hungry.' I just love that."
The action star isn't one to shy away from showcasing his musical talents. He wooed audiences by singing Elvis Presley's "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" in Disney's The Game Plan, in addition to "You're Welcome" in Moana, which he shot to platinum status.
"I love music. Anytime in my movies when I can implement some musical elements, I always love doing that," said Johnson.
While the Fast and Furious star has no desire to walk away from the acting scene, he will never close the door to music.
"If the song is right and if the collaboration feels real and authentic, I would love that. I would love to do a repeat with Tech N9ne and Strange Music," he said. "If I had the opportunity to collaborate with another artist out there — hip hop artists, blues artists, outlaw country artists — then let's talk and let's figure it out. If I could rap about the right words that feel real and authentic to me, then I'll be happy to … jump back into the studio."
Johnson next stars with Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot in Netflix's Red Notice, which hits the streaming platform on Nov. 12
