The rap legend recently announced his 18th studio album, From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites, in an Instagram post earlier this week and alluded to high times being on the horizon.

โ€œNEW SINGLE ALERT OFF NEW ALBUM โ€˜From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites,’โ€ he wrote while flagging the title โ€œRoaches In My Ashtrayโ€ with siren emojis.

On Friday (April 2), Snoop Dogg dropped the audio as promised and released a video as an extra puff. The 420-themed record follows the lineage of songs like Lunizโ€™s โ€œI Got 5 On Itโ€ where proper marijuana courtesy is expected โ€” and lambasted if not followed.

On Friday (April 2), Snoop Dogg delivered on the audio promise and dropped a video as an extra puff. The 420-themed record follows the lineage of songs like Lunizโ€™s โ€œI Got 5 On Itโ€ where proper marijuana courtesy is expected โ€” and lambasted if not followed.

The songโ€™s accompanying video is directed by Guap City Production, features cameos from Wiz Khalifa, Xzibit and producer ProHoeZak (who appears on the songโ€™s hook), countless customized automobiles, and plenty of blunt smoke.

2021 is no doubt a big year career-wise for The Doggfather. On April Foolโ€™s Day, the reports were no joke when NBC announced he would be joining the 20th season of The Voice as a โ€œmega-mentor.โ€

In addition to the upcoming From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites album, heโ€™s also one-fourth of the rap supergroup Mt. Westmore along with Ice Cube, Too $hort, E-40 โ€” and a reunion with Dr. Dre!

In a recent interview with HipHopDX, Too $hort and E-40 both revealed The Chronic creator participation and their excitement to have him in the mix.

โ€œDre is on there, man,โ€ Too $hort said. โ€œHeโ€™s on there. Snoop got him on there. Dre is on there. Thatโ€™s Snoopโ€™s guy. Thatโ€™s Ice Cubeโ€™s guy. They shot a big movie together. Heโ€™s on there. Ainโ€™t no doubt about it. You donโ€™t even got to ask him.โ€

E-40 chimed in with, โ€œShout out to Dr. Dre,โ€ with $hort confirming the feature is already done: โ€œYeah. He already did his part. Itโ€™s already certified. Heโ€™s on the project.โ€
