Queens representative Complx Baysixx drops his beat tape "Da Panda Tape: Pandemic Files".

The title is an homage to Complx's nickname "Panda" as he sees the project as a reflection of his personality: really relaxed, not bothering anyone, but a panda is still a bear at the end of the day.

Growing up, the producer admired sample-based production by the likes of ATCQ, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, J Dilla, Madlib, The Alchemist, 9th Wonder. With "Da Panda Tape: Pandemic Files", Complx Baysixx pays respect to the music he grew up listening to.

He says the project was one way for him to distract his mind from all the negative things that happened in 2020, all the stress caused by COVID-19 and the negative headlines.
A way of doing something you love and staying positive. "I hope that anyone that hears it will feel the same way."
