Jelly Roll shared his sentiments on Instagram: “I always say my childhood hero lived somewhere between Willie Nelson and Eminem. As a teenager (and still today), I could recite every song on the Slim Shady album, the Marshal Mathers album, and the Eminem show.” His admiration for Eminem’s lyrics and understanding of their shared experiences made this collaboration deeply meaningful.
When he received the call that Eminem would be sampling his song, Jelly Roll was moved.
