Brooklyn’s Emerging Rap star Pop Smoke Killed At 20 | ThisIsHipHopHQ

The Hip Hop community has lost yet another great mind. Sadly as it is, Brooklyn’s emerging rap newcomer Pop Smoke has reportedly passed away, according to numerous reports.


The 20 years old rapper, Born Bashar Barakah Jackson, was shot and killed in the early hours of Wednesday (Feb. 19) in what appears to be a home invasion,  this was made known in a report by TMZ.  Pop Smoke, an emerging rap star was staying at a place in Hollywood Hills when two masked men reportedly broke into the residence and robbed him, law enforcement sources told the outlet.


The incidence which left him in a critical condition multiple shot wounds, was reportedly rushed to a Cedars Sinai hospital by emergency first responders where he was pronounced dead.
