New live indoor and outdoor music venue could bring more big-name stars

LA VISTA, Neb. (KPTM) — A new, live, indoor and outdoor music venue has the potential to see more big-name stars tropping to the Omaha area, according to Josh Hunt, Co-Owner and CEO of Mammoth Inc.

The Astro Theater will be a 52,000 sq. ft. indoor theater that connects to an outdoor amphitheater, according to a press release.
A ground-breaking ceremony was held Wednesday morning for the venue which will seat 2,500 people inside, said Hunt.
The amphitheater is able to have national touring artists on stage due to the capabilities and amenities of the venue, said Hunt.
The venue will be located at 8302 City Centre Dr., said the press release.
The outside portion will overlook a public park, said the press release.
The Astro Theater is set to be debuted in January 2023, said the press release.
