 May 19th, 1998: DMX released his debut album “It’s Dark and Hot As Hell.” It debuted at #1 on the Hot 200 and sold over 250k copies the first week. Some classics off the album were “Ruff Ryders Anthem,” “How’s it goin’ down,” and “Stop Being Greedy.”
