It is important to note that, Eminem’s rap career started in an era when Hip Hop scene was dorminated by mainly blacks/coloured – hence he was prejudiced and was never really accepted when he started.

He rose to prominence with the release of My Name is‘ off his second album The Slim Shady LP in  1999. Hence, this is to show that rap cut across all race and ethnicity.

 

Moving on from Em’, J. Cole’s rise to fame came like a thief in the night – he stole our hearts with us not willing to take it back. Cole is no doubt one of the most talented rappers of our time – he is more like the Pac of our time!
