Brown’s unforgettable album dropped in the early 2000’s and comes packed with unforgettable tunes. The project blends a variety of sounds including reggae and dancehall.

Foxy Brown is up to her old tricks on her third album, Broken Silence. She is still the undisputed queen of materialism, evident on “Fallin’,” where she drops names of countless designer brands, rapping about Range Rovers, Gucci, Prada, etc. She is still taking aim at legions of triflin’ ex-friends, including other rappers, ex-boyfriends, etc., etc. Brown is as hood and street as ever but, on this album, she extends her musical wings and embraces other styles to fine effect, making this her most entertaining and musically adventurous album to date. Reggae and dancehall influences abound, most notably on the terrific single “Oh Yeah” and “Tables Will Turn.” (View the complete tracklist here https://www.allmusic.com/album/broken-silence-mw0000005219)

NEWS | THE VERY MUCH CONTROVERSIAL WENDY WILLIAMS ONCE SUGGESTED BEYONCE AND JAY Z PAID RACHEL ROY TO BE PART OF ‘LEMONADE’ DRAMA.

Everyone may have been sipping on the lemonade Beyoncé was serving in 2016, but not Wendy Williams the queen of controversy.

Williams who is known for sharing her unfiltered opinions about specific topics on her popular television show, The Wendy Williams Show didnt hold it back on Bey Shortly after the release of the Queen’s highly anticipated album, Lemonade, Williams sounded off on the whole “Becky with the good hair” drama by suggesting Bey and Jay used Rachel Roy as a marketing ploy to sell more records.

During her “Hot Topic” segment, the famed daytime television host doesn’t hold anything back as she shares whatever is on her mind, even if it’s controversial.

Early this month, Williams claimed influencer Blac Chyna was homeless, which prompted a swift retort from the model herself, who responded to the talk show host’s comment on her Instagram Story.

In February 2020, she seemingly mocked Drew Carrey’s ex-fiancĂ©e’s tragic death, which she was heavily criticized for.

Though Williams often gets called out for her controversial comments surrounding celebrities, that hasn’t deterred her from telling it like it is on her show.

But her ongoing statements about one celebrity, in particular, has come at a major cost as she’s received plenty of criticism and detractors over the years.

Wendy is no stranger to making shocking remarks about singer Beyoncé.

One of the first controversial statements she made about Bey occurred in 2012 when she called out one of the singer’s mannerisms on The Wendy Williams Show.

While sitting in front of a live studio audience in her infamous purple chair, the talk show host discussed the Grammy winner’s upcoming HBO documentary Life Is But a Dream.

Williams shared that she was planning on tuning in but said she would have to use closed captioning while watching the film to clearly understand the hitmaker.

“I am a BeyoncĂ© fan. I’m gonna watch her upcoming documentary because fortunately one of the TVs in our kitchen has closed captioning, so I’ll be able to understand what she says,” she said. “You know BeyoncĂ© can’t talk. She sounds like she has a fifth-grade education.”

NEWS | DMX Reportedly Trained One Of His Dogs To Ad-Lib During His Freestyles

In a world where a distinctive ad-lib could determine all the difference between being a rapper and being a superstar, DMX  probably has some of the most iconic ad-libs in the game.
Taking his love for dogs to another level, he peppered his classic songs  with barks and growls to accentuate his favorite lines, giving them an unmistakable and unique sound.
On a recent episode of N.O.R.E.’s podcast Drink Champs, though, battle rapper Murda Mook revealed that the Dark Man had taken his love for the effect even further, training one of his dogs to ad-lib for him as he freestyled.
According to Mook, who was a witness to a DMX battle in Harlem in which the rap legend displayed this unusual talent. “He had his dog,” Mook revealed. So, he battling on the corner and all the n****s around him
He battled Den [10] on the block on 121st, right, Seventh Avenue.” He can’t quite quote the entire verse, but recalls one line: “Be careful of my dog, she might bite you.” He says that on cue, the dog issued a menacing growl — just like her owner would in a song like “Stop Being Greedy.” But to add to the effect, Mook claims DMX’s next line, “Chill, ma, let me get him,” played off the eyebrow-raising dog trick as the pitbull sat back and let the master continue his verse.
DMX is currently working on an album for Def Jam, so it’s entirely possible that he could be hitting the road in the near future — as long as COVID leaves a few venues for him to perform at.
