South Carolina born, but
Bronx-raised, Def Soulja caught the ears of execs last summer with the release
of 42
Square Miles; his collaborative project with producer 183rd
(also known for his work with Smoke DZA, Jae Millz, Bodega Bamz) and parlayed
it into a deal with Equity/Roc Nation.
Now, the new rising Roc Nation signee prepares to unleash his new ambitious artistic
endeavor Moonlight Marauder; which marries his music with an exhilarating
companion film.
Along with releasing his
new single, “Illustrious,” Soulja has also now released details for the musical
and film components of Moonlight Marauder, with the album
being produced in its entirety by Sebb (who most know for his affiliations with
The Alchemist and Evidence) and the film which is directed by Terrance “MF”
Thomas.
Moonlight Marauder is more than a film—it’s a sensory experience. Inspired by Def Soulja’s (Soulja also stars

In Full, The Devils Own, Flatbush Misdemeanors) as the antagonist Remy, Meeko Gattuso
(Mouse of Euphoria fame), Enrique Reddick (Pure Finesse, Hot Girls & June Bug),
and the multi-talented Dyme-A-Duzin among others.
